McCall Motors is a family owned company that started
business operations at Bruce Rock in
1938 and is still owned and run by the descendents of Danial McCall
(old Jim) and wife Ellen McCall who retired
to Perth in the early 1970's leaving eldest son Lesley Joseph James
McCall (young Jim) and his wife Margaret to own and run the
business.
During these years McCall's were very successful vehicle
and machinery dealers for General Motors, Briggs &
Stratton, Massey Ferguson and John Shearer
as well as also selling
parts and hardware.
Later on in 1993 Jim and
Margaret's nephew Mark Brown joined the
Company and took up the challenge of running a business
after being involved with the farming &
shearing industries for the previous fifteen years. The
business has changed a little over the years, but basically still
services the Shire of Bruce Rock and surrounding areas
affectively.
McCall Motors are members of CRT, Capricorn Society,
CPS Ltd and are also agents for the ANZ, Briggs
& Stratton, Gas Cylinders Australia,
Kohler, Primary Sales Australia, Robin
Subaru and Summit Fertilizers
